I hope that you all are enjoying a nice weekend. We got our Eddie Aikau memorial surf contest poster framed and hung. Us, and thousands of others were pretty stoked when the contest was a go in February. The waves at Waimea Bay on Oahu's north shore have to reach a ginormous 40 foot face before the annual contest can take place. That's only happened 8 times in the last 31 years! Needless to say we were happy to be able to watch...big mahalo to Quicksilver for the live feed! It was an amazing show! Congratulations to Hawaii's John John Florence for the win! What an awesome way to honor hero Eddie Aikau.
