Aloha from Kauai Friends!

It's so nice to be back on the Island! We're enjoying our little holiday, taking it easy. Here's a few photos from our first day...

Stoked to be off the airplane! After the long flight we headed over to the Beachboy poolside bar for a drink. Mike made us a refreshing drink with Kauai made Koloa rum, ginger ale and lemonade.

Aloha Friends!

I'm happy to report that Ted and I have decided it's time for a little getaway. It's a short visit... I truly believe those can be the sweetest! Just 4 nights on Kauai but, I can't wait!

We're looking forward to sitting on the beach in front of the condo and watching the days slowly pass. No rental car, no running around. Slow days...Kauai kind.

Aloha Guys!

I hope that you all are enjoying a nice weekend. We got our Eddie Aikau memorial surf contest poster framed and hung. Us, and thousands of others were pretty stoked when the contest was a go in February. The waves at Waimea Bay on Oahu's north shore have to reach a ginormous 40 foot face before the annual contest can take place. That's only happened 8 times in the last 31 years! Needless to say we were happy to be able to watch...big mahalo to Quicksilver for the live feed! It was an amazing show! Congratulations to Hawaii's John John Florence for the win! What an awesome way to honor hero Eddie Aikau.

Rest in peace Eddie.
