Winter brings huge waves to Kauai! Lifeguards closed North shore beaches for "swimming". With waves today in the 20-30 foot range and 30-40 expected tomorrow! Local surfers wait in anticipation for the massive swells that reach Hawaii every winter. Imagine the thrill of riding those waves! For most of us, it's best to experience that thrill from the sand. But I'm sure it's an awesome show! Wish I was there now!
